Position Summary: 

The CRM Marketing Operations Consultant will be the primary individual responsible for the CRM system on the Marketing Team.  The CRM Marketing Operations Consultant will work effectively with users to understand their needs, provide training, coordinate enhancements/functionality, CRM reports and trouble-shooting of escalated Help Desk issues for CRM.  In this position, you will serve as the firm’s lead CRM Trainer, Project Manager, and Subject Matter Expert.

 Position Accountabilities:

  • Work effortlessly between the technical world of data systems (IT department) and the user groups
  • Find ways that the CRM system can help users with business development and help with adoption
  • Serve as an advocate and champion of the user base when it comes to efforts to enhance and evolve the CRM system
  • Promote the use of the CRM tool and lead the integration into end-user workflow when bringing in new user groups; assist their integration by understanding business requirements
  • Provide demonstrations to user groups
  • Help with or coordinate data cleanup, D&B refresh and list import coordination
  • Schedule and provide hands-on training to end-users, either in a face-to-face setting or remotely via technology, including the development of step-by-step instructions for new and enhanced functionality
  • Develop business and data requirements for new user groups as they are added and work closely with IT team to create database and front-end enhancements, as well as back-end functionality scripts and security access
  • Assist with implementation of upgrades
  • Create, update, and maintain corporate and ad hoc reports 
  • Acts as second-level support to all end users and trouble-shooting all obvious or hidden issues that can cause end-user problems; acts as subject manner expert for CRM system.  Differentiate issues and determine whether additional support required
  • Implements all security rules for all end-users including proper assignment of read/write access, team/owner access and development of team hierarchy
  • Assists in the development of standards, protocols and procedures affecting data base management, design and maintenance
  • Responsible for management of pick list values
  • Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

 Qualifications

  • The administrator will have an understanding of the Microsoft CRM functional specifications coupled with the ability to integrate the tool into:
    • the client communications,
    • prospect communications,
    • new business data mining,
    • business development,
    • Marketing program tracking, and
    • reporting
  • Requires thorough knowledge of database structure as well as proficiency in Crystal Reports, including the ability to create reports with filter options such that end-users can 'customize' them, as needed
  • Must understand the systems development process and have a solid understanding of business processes 
  • Excellent analytical ability and strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to work effectively with Partners, industry groups, Business Management, and IT
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; performs a variety of complicated tasks.  Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Ability to effectively balance client’s needs and prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and concisely in writing and orally  
  • Excellent organization, project management, and communication skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (orally as well as in writing) with all levels of staff  
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team as well as independently
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and meet multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter who understands the details within a much larger content
  • Flexibility: in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities
  • Attention to detail

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related business degree

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5+ years experience with Customer Relationship Management systems.  Knowledge of enterprise management, business intelligence tools and Crystal Reports preferred.

Geography, Travel and Hours:

  • Qualified candidates must be either residing in the Metro Detroit area or be willing to relocate.
  • This is an exempt position that may require some Saturday work hours and overtime during work week
  • Minimal travel is required fin this position
