Responsible for direct support and maintenance of SMT and Thru-hole production equipment.

Duties: |
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
*SMT stencil specifications and design. Automatic placement/insertion machine program generation
*Preventative maintenance and reports
*Machine operation, training and development
*Process control and product profile development for reflow and wave solder processes
*Performs time studies of manufacturing processes
*Operator training for reflow and wave solder operations
*Fixture and pallet design for assembly and soldering
*Unicam software operator and database maintenance
*Procedure and work instruction generation as necessary
*Participates in new equipment selection
*Support product test activities as needed
*Assist with manufacturing estimates for quotations
EDUCATION/TRAINING
*5-7 years experience in electronic production
*3-5 years Surface Mount Technology experience, Mydata preferred
*AOI experience a plus
*Associates degree in Manufacturing or Process Engineering or equivalent experience required |
