Description: |
The Technical Specialist is responsible for the promotion, sale and technical support of Seco Tools Inc. products to end-users and authorized distributors within his or her assigned territory. The sales person is to professionally represent Seco Tools Inc. with all commercial contacts and is specifically responsible for developing new profitable business while maintaining the territory's existing business.
He or she is further responsible for achieving all assigned budgeted and non-budgeted objectives.

Duties: |
Key Responsibilities:
Expand account base in the assigned area and grow sales through personal involvement with end users and distributor personnel.
Maintain direct contact with distributor personnel and management through sales calls, joint planning sessions and update meetings to ensuring understanding of Seco policies and requirements
Establish, develop and maintain direct contact with key end user personnel to establish Seco as the primary supplier within their facility.
Maintain detailed call planning, project and cost savings records within the available Infolink and Project databases. |
Qualifications: |
Minimum Requirements:
BS Degree in Engineering or other technically applicable field and/or 5 years experience in the metalworking field
2+ experience in the sale and application of metalworking products
Good oral and written communication with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
