The Student Intern provides part-time, temporary employment opportunities for students pursuing academic studies. Interns may perform a range of clerical, technical, operational, or professional tasks, depending on their academic level, program placement, and Department or Office needs.

Required Tasks

• Support various Wayne County departments to assist with their responsibilities.
• Provide support for meetings, events, and projects across departments.
• Use Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and SharePoint.
• Contribute to the preparation of summaries, charts, and simple reports
• File documents or records (paper & electronically)

Educational Requirements

Applicant must be currently enrolled in college or university with a Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar information technology curriculum.
