DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR JOB DUTIES

Coordinate and oversee operations at the Senior Services Nutrition sites ensuring all meals are properly packaged and served to homebound and congregate meal participants. Site Floaters perform the duties of the Site Coordinator at various nutrition sites on an on-call basis when needed.

Required Tasks

  • Ensure food delivered to site meets the requirements for quality, quantity, temperature, and adequate equipment and supplies are available to serve home delivered and congregate clients meal portions.
  • Coordinate volunteer activities, ensuring volunteers have accurate information for proper packaging and delivery of meals to homebound clients based on the route sheet list provided by the Senior Services Department.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required ensuring accurate documentation of meals served.
  • Follow daily donation procedure established by the program and make daily deposit of all donations the designated bank.
  • Ensure all tables, work surfaces, kitchen equipment is maintained in a sanitary manner.
  • Attend all staff meetings and trainings as required.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • High School graduate with proof of education
  • Reliable transportation with current driver's license and vehicle insurance
  • Clear criminal background
  • Basic computer and cell phone skills
  • Ability to communicate via email
  • Available to work between the hours of 8am and 2pm
